I visited Budapest on the 17th April 2006 for 3 days with a view to purchasing an apartment. It was my first foreign purchase and my first visit to Budapest and so presented me with a daunting task.
I left Budapest having chosen and signed the agreement on a lovely one bed apartment. The staff at Gateway were excellent. They organised and accompanied me on viewings of a good range of apartments, organised the accompanied me on my meeting with the lawyer and the seller and even helped me to open a bank account. Their staff are efficient and friendly and have great local knowledge. The help didn't stop there and on subsequent visits they organised the apartment insurance, transferred utility agreements and recommended a letting agency. I would have no hesitation in recommending Gateway properties to manage your property purchase in Budapest.
